  1. How terrible a 30% increase with the promise of renewables with no fixed dates for a rate breakdown.

    We need the truth.

  2. People afraid of change so they continue to vote back these same types of people? Does the people understand that in order for you to even qualify for any help, you need to be broke? Even if your a single parent working trying to make ends meet but you need that extra help ex: food stamps, housing, rental assistance? If your a dollar over the requirement, your disqualified? These guys are doing nothing but keeping you poor? And then not to mention getting hit with ridiculous increases in your utility bills, gas hikes and food hikes and shortages? Does not anyone see these things?? From the WH to Hawaii we have these same guy’s keeping Everyone broke as a joke and yet, the signs are all over the state to vote them back in??? SMDH!!! Whose da dummy’s???

  3. Of course. It will probably go up again. With all the solar, they must be losing lots of money. So stupid closing the coal burning plant. Cost way less to run it than the oil. Thank to the damacraps, and the stupid people here.

  4. This wouldn't be a problem if we had not allowed HECO to block people and businesses from installing solar and battery systems on their properties and connecting them to the grid for so many years. We could have been so much closer to our renewable goals.

  5. Thanks Democrats!! You guys really care about the working class of Hawaii! Mucho Aloha!

  6. Hawaii has the highest cost of living in the entire country. Paychecks aren’t keeping up with inflation. Environmentalists have pushed more locals into Poverty!
